The Governance of Emerging Technologies Summit (GETS) 2025 is a landmark global event dedicated to advancing discussions on the formation and updating of policies, governance framework and responsible deployment of emerging technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, Web3, and Quantum Computing by Governments in partnership with stakeholders in key economic and societal sectors and the digital industry.
Hosted in the United Arab Emirates—a country recognised for its progressive legislative approach and commitment to innovation and societal accountability —GETS serves as a convening ground for governments, NGOs, international trade promotion organizations, regulators, tech developers, academia and civil society.
GETS 2025 reflects the UAE’s belief in the transformative potential of emerging technologies to serve the public good and drive sustainable growth. Predicated on an open collaborative and accountable approach, the Summit aims to co-create future-ready governance models across key economic and societal sectors including Public Services, Law and Order, Healthcare, Education, Financial Services, Culture & Youth Empowerment and Digital Transition.
In partnership with influential global actors, the UAE Government leadership shall rally cross -border and cross- industries stakeholders to forge inclusive and powerful alliances to develop robust, sustainable, innovative and modern governance frameworks to harness technologies advancements for the betterment of our fast progressive digital societies.
